Member Spotlight: Allan Belcher

NSPA has had the privilege of working with Allan Belcher,
Director of Ambassador Services at Centra Health. His responsibilities include:
Centra’s Ground Transport services, Centra One medevac program, in-hospital patient
transporters and greeters, valet services and co-director of Centra’s call

He has served two consecutive terms on the Board of
Directors for NSPA, and has been the point of contact for the readiness,
activation and deployment of the NSPA’s Stabilization and Treatment In Place
(STIP) resources.

Allan has brought a wealth of knowledge to the table! He
started as a volunteer EMS provider in Henry County for approximately 10 years,
then worked for the Carilion Heath System for 18 years as a Paramedic with Transport
Services, Flight Paramedic with LifeGuard 10, and Director of Transport and EMS
Services. In addition to this he has served as an adjunct instructor for
Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Emergency Services Director for
Martinsville Speedway, and as an instructor for NASCAR’s Track Services Training Program.

NSPA is honored to have had such an inspiring individual in our region contribute to the coalition. Allan’s contributions to not only NSPA,but its members show his commitment to healthcare in the region! Thank you for
