NSPA to Present at Three CBERS Sessions in NSW Region

The Virginia Department of Health has partnered with the Virginia Pharmacists Association to produce the 2015 CBERS sessions:  "Public Health Emergency Preparedness for Pharmacy Professionals"

The sessions in the NSW region are as follows:

February 10: Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital, Lynchburg, 6:30-8:30pm
February 17: Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, Danville, 6:30-8:30pm
March 12: Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, 6:30-8:30pm

NSPA staff will be delivering a 10 minute presentation entitled "The Involvement of Pharmacy Professionals in Emergency Preparedness and Response through the Regional Health Care Coalition".

As part of an effort to engage regional pharmacists in the emergency preparedness effort, NSPA desires to form a pharmacy workgroup and hopes these CBERS sessions will be an in-road to developing relationships in the pharmacy sphere.

Following the sessions, the presentation will be posted on the resources page.
