Radiation Emergency Surge Annex
Registration is officially open for the regional Radiation Emergency Surge Tabletop Exercise (TTX) on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Vinton War Memorial (814 E Washington Ave, Vinton, VA 24179) from 1 - 4:30 PM (EST). This facilitated experience will validate the newly created NSPA Radiation Emergency Surge Annex.
This exercise aims to provide guidance to regional stakeholders on radiation emergencies in which the number and severity of exposed or possibly exposed patients’ challenges surge capabilities. The exercise will also highlight regional experts, incident-specific resources within and external to NSPA, and the mechanisms/processes for coordinating regional patient flow.
Discussions and injects are highly applicable to all stakeholders. Click the button below to register. Registration will remain open until Monday, May 1st. Seats are first come first serve however, selection criteria may be utilized if participation capacities are reached.
